Meet Mr. Pastry Brush and Ms. Mini Grater, aren’t they a cute couple? They live near to my hob and always make me smile.
My rice cooker. I won’t say any more about it, you’ve probably heard more than enough, LOL.
Wether one is religious or not, I think this just exudes calm. I like to look at it and think, when things are not going right, and when I remember, to say thank you, when things are going right.
I love my globe, though not in the kitchen, my home is open plan, so technically they’re in the same room….. I like to look at it and dream, see where I’ve been and where I’d like to go.
It was also useful when I was teaching Elena:
Long legged Italy
Kicked little Sicily
In to the Mediterranean Sea.
Spain said I’m Hungary
And dipped some Turkey into Greece.
Last, but not least my tin of Nigella seeds, sent to me by a lovely friend in the States. I was jumping for joy when I saw this tin!!!!
Thanks to Mara for the great idea.
Elena is beautiful! She looks very grown up these days. Love seeing some of your favorites. I like the picture on the wall and knowing what it means to you. Lea xxx
