I can’t believe I’ve been away for two whole weeks, I feel as if there was a part of me missing not being able to just pop on the PC and see how everyone’s doing. It just goes to show how reliant we can become on a piece of machinery, and I guess that’s not too healthy. So in a way, maybe it was a good thing in disguise.
Yes, that’s me in the top photgraph. In keeping with ‘New year, new start’, I had my hair cut off, and it felt so good! It had become a nuisance, with nothing better to do than hang at the back in a pony tail. It’s so thick and curly that it was a bother straightening it. It does still have to be straightened – but I can manage it much better!
I didn’t save many photographs while the pc was broken, but I just wanted to share that since reading about Lisa’s dear Mother, who used to cut a salad every day in a particular favourite bowl, I thought what a fantastic idea!
So, now I try to do that daily, and also to try and include all the colours of the rainbow, for all the different, varied vitamins and minerals. It looks good doesn’t it? And we all enjoy it so much.
Oh, and there are my beloved tomato bruschettas. Sooo good, and only 3 points a serving!
And Nigella’s totally chocolate cookies from ‘Express’, well, not technically Nigella’s recipe, but Elinor Klivans. I’ve had a lot of success with that recipe.
So, not altogether healthy, but very, very tasty!
