Yes, only 3 more sleeps and I can rush to Waterstones clutching my pennies in my hot little hands to exchange them for Nigella’s new book ‘Kitchen’.
I literally CANNOT wait!
After my, shall we say, lukewarm response to Nigella’s Christmas book, I have been a little aprehensive that Nigella’s recipes will be a little ‘ordinary’ and that I wouldn’t fall head over heels in love with them…but what can I say? After about 15 of the recipes appeared in the ‘Mail on Sunday’s ‘You’ magazine, I really needn’t have worried! The recipes are cosy, homely, comforting, but with that certain Nigella quirkiness which sets them apart.
How about mixing cream cheese with lemon curd for a ‘no-fuss’ fruit tart filling? Inspired I say! I would never have thought of doing that!

Mine's on it's way – but where is it? Over the ocean still, or perhaps it's landed?? LOL I am aching to see it, and have tried my hardest not to see any recipes before hand so I can fall in love with the pages when it arrives! We'll ALL be doing the happy dance sooner or later;)
