It started off with the chocolate chip whoopie pies…
I just wanted to dive head first into the cake mix…
But in my haste I’d forgotten to grease my new whoopie pie tins….
Luckily the non-stick pan lived up to it’s name.
Then because I had chocolate marshmallow filling left over which needed to be used, I made carrot cake whoopie pies…
I added some chopped nuts with a little brown sugar and cinnamon to the filling for a bit of crunch.
Then it was time to try the red velvet whoopie pies….
Which were a rather alarming shade of tandoori chicken red……
But were sooo pretty in the end…….
Ooh red velvet whoopee pies! I'm in lurve!!

They are all lovely, the red one are so pretty! I did the banoffee ones from Cake Days and they were great too. I will get round to blogging them soon.

They look amazing! I am so wanting to try them after my Cake Days arrived today! Do you need to use the special pans or do they work ok on baking trays?

Fi, they work fine on baking trays, though I would definitely use an ice-cream scoop to measure so they're the same size. I like the pan because they don't spread out as much. But that's just me. Good luck!

these look absolutely delicious. especially the red velvet ones. i have yet to try making whoopie pies. I don't have a whoopie pie tin (and I don't think you can get one here) but would a mini cupcake tray work?
