  1. Anna, I love the cake as well. However, I have to disagree with you on the breakfast bars. You see, they are only healthy if you can control how many you eat in one sitting lol. I love them so much that I don’t make them. Though, when I give in I use fat-free condensed milk (ok no fat, but deffo has calories!!!) and dried cherries as I like them much more than dried cranberries. Oh gosh! Just the picture of them is tempting me. 🙂

  3. Mmm, those both look amazing! I just put them into my springpad – it’s a great way to organize recipes, meal plans, and everything else… you should check it out, I think you’d like it!

  4. Anna, I am sure all the superfoods offset that *little bit of fat and sugar* in the tinned and sweetened milk;) I agree, still much healthier than the dusty bought blocks! You surely know I agree on the cake too:D One of the nicest gifts from Nigella ever – it’s a constant in our kitchen:)

  5. Anna, these are 2 great Nigella recipes! I’ve also lost count the many times I’ve baked the Old-Fashioned Chocolate Cake and can definitely say it is absolutely divine! The breakast bars I’ve made once and they were a big hit in my home.Mariax
