Jane, a friend at a foodie forum I belong ,to recently posted a photo of a very retro looking item, along with the challenge to ‘guess what it is’. A prize to be given for the most original answer, and another for the correct (well, as far as we can guess correct) answer.
Here’s the thingummy…and a very pretty colour it is too….
What do you think it is?
Most people seemed to think it was an ashtray, the corkscrew-ish bit used to hold the cigarette.
My sense of humour told me it was a gynaecological instrument of torture…… and I won! (Not for the correct answer I hasten to add!!)
